Megan Health, Inc., formed in 1993, is a privately held company devoted to the development of human and animal vaccines using patented gene modification technologies. The technologies used provide for the modification of organisms which normally cause disease in man and/or animals. These organisms can be used as attenuated vaccines or as vectors. This pioneering use of “nature’s software” to change harmful organisms into helpful organisms is the work of reknown Washington University researcher, Dr. Roy Curtiss III.
